Event Details
Welcome to Rochester! International Student Furniture Giveaway 2011 is held by four Local Christian Churches on every Saturday from July 30, 2011 to September 10, 2011.
Before the Event
Online registration is required. Please take a few moments and register today. Every student can only attend one time. Please choose one attending ticket and only registrate for that date.
Make sure you correctly input your name, Rochester local address (as well as parking lot number if necessary) and phone number. We can only deliver the furniture for you according to the information you provided.
Registration ends at 12:00 am on every Thursday of the event week.
At the Event
When: July 30, 2011(host church: Word of Life); August 13/2011(host church: Elim Gospel
Church); August 27/2011(host church: Victory Baptist Church); September 10/2011(host church: Ridgeland Community Church), from 10:00AM to 12:00AM
Where: 2199 East Henrietta Road in the Suburban Plaza (in between Bob's Diner and the Department of Motor Vehicles) Rochester, NY 14623
Transportation: Transportation to and from the event site is available. Please email us no late than every Thursday before the event:

On-site Registration: On-site Registration starts at 10:00AM every event date. Please bring Photo ID to confirm your online registration information.
Furniture Picking: We will devide attendees into small groups randomly. Household items (pots, pans, plates, eating utensils, etc.) and furniture (tables, desks, chairs, couches, etc.) will be made available to you at no cost.
Delivery: Following the furniture distribution, the large furniture items will be loaded onto trucks and delivered to your apartment. While you are waiting for your furniture to be loaded for delivery, it is very important that you remain with your furniture items. You will be responsible for the transportation of your smaller, household items. It is also important that you are aware that you must be present at your apartment in order to receive your furniture delivery. You can expect the delivery of your furniture item between 1:00-5:00 pm. If no one is present when the furniture arrives at your apartment, your furniture will be given to another student. Please be sure to make arrangements to be present for delivery.
After the Event
If you are interested in exploring beauty of Rochester and making new friends, we sincerly invite you to a series of events afterwards.
We will have free buffet picnic on September 17th, 2011 at VBCMR, including live music, drama, interviews,
special guest sharing and games:
Sports, Games, Relays, Contests,
Large Playground, Bouncers,
Face Painting, Balloons &
Lots of Conversation!

We are a group of Chinese Christians in Rochester, NY of America, coming from different areas of the world, with different age, education, vocation, etc. We came to know God through His truth and love, and love Him and His truth.
